DOG TREATS YOU CAN MAKE YOURSELF

  • No Bake Birthday Cake

    Hawaiian King bread
    1 8oz. carton of plain yogurt
    1 8oz carton of cream cheese
    1 12 oz can of smooth dog food (we use Wellness Super Mix, 12 oz.)
    CheeseWhiz
    Real Bacon Bits
    Dog Biscuits

    Mix the plain yogurt with ˝ can of dog food. In a separate bowl, mix the cream cheese with the other ˝ can of dog food. Mix well so that there are no chucks.

    Cut open the bread like a large hamburger bun and place the yogurt mix on the bottom half, spread the mix to the edge and put the top back on.

    Place the cream cheese mix on the top and carefully “frost”. Decorate the cake with the CheeseWhiz, bacon bits and dog biscuits. Don’t forget to “HOOOWL” Happy Birthday to your dog before you serve the cake.

  • Trail Mix

    Human grade jerky
    Cheerios

    Cut jerky into treat size pieces Put cheerios in a jar with the jerky. Mix well and seal jar. Let sit for 2 or 3 days, shaking occasionally to mix everything up. Feed cheerios as treats with jerky pieces as a bonus treat.

  • Fruit Frosty Paws or Meat Frosty Paws

    1 quart PLAIN low-fat or fat free yogurt
    1 mashed banana
    2-3 tablespoons peanut butter
    2 tablespoons honey

    OR

    1 quart PLAIN low-fat or fat free yogurt
    1 jar of meat only human baby food
    2 tablespoons honey

    Mix all ingredients and freeze into individual treats in an ice cube tray or paper bathroom cups.
